JAMB SPREADER TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
- The Jamb Spreader is patented (U.S. Patent
#5,224,298).
- It works with most brands of quality
double-hung windows utilizing flexible vinyl jamb liners ("compression jambs")
and incorporating a tilt feature.
- It spreads vinyl jambs for windows with glass
widths from 20" to 36" (jamb-to- jamb widths of 22 ¼" to 38
¾").
- We also offer an add-on piece
which allows the tool to work with 40" windows (new item), as well as a "junior" version of the tool for
glass widths from 16" to 28." Please contact us if you are interested in either
of these special-order items.
- The Jamb Spreader is ideal as either a
value-added handout for your new installation customers or as a retail item for current
tilt window owners.
- We can screen-print your company
name and logo onto the tools that you order (please refer to our page on custom printing for complete details).
- The Jamb Spreader is also very useful for
installers as an adjustable-width spacer when installing replacement
units (or even when hanging doors!).
